FOCUS AREA: PARENTS
We encourage parents to actively participate in reading promotion. We hope that parental involvement—through reading together and recommending books—will become a key way to build relationships within the school community.
Ideas Bank:
Establishing a School Book Discussion Club for Parents.
Inspiring at least one parent per class to read aloud at school once a month as a volunteer.
Organizing a lecture or workshop for parents on the importance of reading in a child's development.
