The Foundation for Universal Reading, based in Warsaw at 33 Przyokopowa Street (01-208), registered in the National Court Register under number 0000756841 (hereinafter referred to as “FPC”), in connection with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”), provides information regarding the principles and conditions of processing personal data provided to FPC by you:

You have provided your personal data in connection with subscribing to the newsletter of the Foundation for Universal Reading.

The scope of personal data provided by you and processed by us includes: email address. Providing personal data is not a statutory or contractual requirement. You are not obliged to provide your data; however, it is necessary in order to participate in selected actions, which are governed by a separate regulation.

If you leave a comment on our website, you can opt to save your name, email address, and website address in cookies, so that during future comments, the information will be automatically filled in. These cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and log in to this website, we will create a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will be discarded once you close your browser.

During login, we create additional cookies needed to store your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies expire after two days, and screen preferences expire after one year. If you leave a comment, the content and metadata will be stored indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve subsequent comments without sending them for moderation. For users who have registered on our website (if any), we also store personal information entered in the profile. Each user may review, correct, or delete their personal information at any time (except for the username, which cannot be changed). Administrators of the site can also view and modify this information.
